An interesting white wine from the Southern Lazio (Latium) region blended from 62% Viognier,13% Manzoni,13% Petit Manseng and 12% Chardonnay.
LATIUM: ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT WINEMAKING AREAS IN EUROPE.
Located 65 miles south of Rome, and within the area of the Roman Castles within the Alban Hills. The area features a millennia-old vine making tradition. Its tradition goes back to more than 2700 years ago and it is renowned for being the birthplace of the main wine varietals, which were already exported by the ancient Romans.
A unique pairing of flavours that’s fruit forward, warm apricots, tropical fruits like guava and papaya, citrus, intense jasmine scent, calendula and white nougat. A creamy texture that’s densely structured with fresh fruit and lively acidity, medium-bodied, dry and fruit driven finish.
Wonderful on its own, but paired beautifully with light tomato and white sauce dishes, light to full flavoured fish, selection of cheese and dried fruits.
