Bombino Bianco is an Italian white grape variety. It is one of the oldest grape varieties in central-southern Italy.
Its name derives from the shape of the cluster, which resembles a child with outstretched arms. Hence the name Bombino, a dialectal version of the Italian word "Bambino," which over time transformed into Bombino.
With a straw yellow color, on the nose, there are hints of white fruit and ripe pulp, with tropical and floral undertones. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, substantial, long, with an interesting acidity that highlights its freshness.
Best paired with raw dishes, first and second seafood courses. It also pairs well with savoury finger foods.
