Do I need wine knowledge to attend a tasting?

Not at all — our tastings are relaxed, welcoming and designed for all levels of experience.

Are your tastings formal?

No — our experiences are informal, social and focused on enjoying great wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Can I attend alone?

Absolutely — many guests attend solo or in smaller groups.

Do I need to book in advance?

We strongly recommend booking in advance as many of our smaller events and experiences sell out quickly.

Do you offer private wine tastings or events?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a birthday, work event, team-building evening or private celebration, we can create a tailored wine experience for your group. We can host events at Via Vigna or bring the experience to your home or business.

Can I buy the wines I taste during events?

Yes — many of the wines featured during tastings and supper clubs are available to purchase in-store.

Supper Clubs & Food

Do you serve food?

We offer snacks, olives, bread and oils during regular opening hours. We are also expanding our food experiences through our Italian Dining Supper Club evenings and paired tasting events.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?

Yes — please let us know in advance and we’ll always do our best to accommodate dietary requirements where possible.

Wine Bar & Drinks

Can I visit Via Vigna just for drinks?

Of course. Anytime we are open, you’re welcome to enjoy a glass of wine, a bottle of beer or a cocktail in our relaxed wine bar setting.

Do you only sell Italian wine?

Yes — we specialise in Southern Italian wines, particularly ancient and lesser-known grape varieties that are rarely found in supermarkets. Our aim is to showcase authentic Italian wines with something for every palate.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes — we offer vouchers for wine tasting experiences or custom monetary amounts, making the perfect gift for wine lovers.

Events & Quiz Nights

When are your Quiz Nights?

Our Quiz Nights take place on the last Thursday of every month.

Gather your team (maximum 4 people) and join us for an evening of fun, wine and trivia.

Arrival from 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

Visiting Via Vigna

Where is Via Vigna located?

Via Vigna is based in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, near Great Yarmouth. Our address is: 7 Baker Street, Gorleston NR31 6QT

Is parking available nearby?

Yes — there is free road side parking directly opposite Via Vigna.

Parking is free for up to 2 hours between 9am–6pm Monday to Saturday, with no time limit after 6pm.

Alternatively, there is free council owner parking just down the road of the left before Morrisons turning.

Are children allowed?

Via Vigna is an adult-focused wine bar and experience venue. Guests must be aged 18+.

When are you open?

Thursday: 12pm – 6pm

Friday: 12pm – 8pm (sometimes later if people are enjoying themselves!)

Saturday: 11am – 6pm
