We absolutely love this little gem from Basilicata in southern Italy. Basilicata is a rugged landscape of rolling hills which can make grape growing a challenge, but an abundance of sunshine during the growing season and typically cool harvests make this a great place to make fresh aromatic whites.
Pipoli is layered with intense tropical fruit notes with hints of white flower on the nose. There's plenty of acidity on the palate bringing a lovely freshness to this blend of Greco and Fiano.
